Pricing guide
How Much Does YouTube Promotion Cost in 2026?
What YouTube Promote, Google Ads, managed promotion services and channel submissions actually cost — and how much a music artist should realistically budget for a video.
Editorial disclosure: This guide is published by WeScaleMusic, which sells YouTube music promotion campaigns and is included in the pricing comparison below. Other providers' figures come from their own official pricing pages. Pricing checked September 2026 — prices can change.
How much does YouTube promotion cost?
YouTube promotion can start with a relatively small advertising budget and scale into campaigns worth hundreds or thousands of euros. The actual cost depends on whether you use YouTube Promote, Google Ads, a managed promotion service or direct music-channel submissions.
Current examples checked in September 2026:
- VeeFly campaigns from approximately $10
- Prodvigate video promotion from approximately $20
- Sprizzy campaigns from approximately $50
- One Submit YouTube channel submissions around $20 per submission
- YouTube Promote lets creators define their own campaign budget and end date
- WeScaleMusic package-based YouTube music promotion, currently from €119 to €1299 on the live YouTube promotion page
These services do not sell the same thing, so the lowest price is not automatically the best value. Pricing checked September 2026. Prices can change.

Why does YouTube promotion pricing vary so much?
Because "YouTube promotion" is not one product. Four different models sit behind those prices, and they are not interchangeable.
YouTube advertising
You pay for advertising inventory directly. YouTube Promote and Google Ads both work this way, and the price is set by the advertising auction rather than by a price list.
Managed YouTube advertising
A third party configures and manages the advertising for you. WeScaleMusic, Sprizzy, Prodvigate and VeeFly all state that campaigns run through Google's advertising systems.
Publisher-network promotion
A provider distributes your video across external websites, apps, blogs, games and social networks rather than through YouTube ads. Promolta describes this model.
Music-channel submissions
You pay for your music to be reviewed and considered by independent YouTube channel owners. One Submit works this way. You are buying review, not publication.
Comparing a $10 entry campaign with a $20 channel submission or a €250 managed package on raw starting price alone tells you almost nothing. Decide which model you want first, then compare prices inside that model.
How much does YouTube Promote cost?
YouTube does not publish one universal flat price for Promote. It is a self-service advertising tool built into YouTube Studio, and you define the campaign yourself:
- • Campaign budget
- • Campaign duration — YouTube currently suggests around 10 days during setup
- • Promotion goal, which can include more views, more subscribers or website visits
- • Targeting such as countries, languages, age, gender and interests, depending on the current interface and device
Because the delivery runs through Google's advertising auction, there is no fixed cost per view, cost per subscriber or minimum budget that applies to everyone. Two creators spending the same amount in different countries and niches will see different results.

YouTube Promote vs Google Ads: what's the cost difference?
Both ultimately use Google's advertising infrastructure, so the underlying inventory is the same. The difference is control, not a different marketplace.
YouTube Promote
- • Simpler interface
- • Creator-defined budget
- • Faster setup
- • Fewer advanced controls
Google Ads
- • More advanced targeting
- • More campaign formats and settings
- • More granular bidding
- • Deeper reporting and optimisation
A managed service may charge for both the advertising spend and the campaign management, depending on its business model. That is one reason third-party promotion pricing cannot be compared like-for-like with self-service Google Ads.
How much does WeScaleMusic YouTube promotion cost?
WeScaleMusic sells fixed YouTube campaign packages. Prices below are pulled live from the same package data used on the YouTube promotion page, so they are always current.
| Package | Current price | Estimated campaign view target |
|---|---|---|
| Tester | €119 | 5k–8k views (estimated target) |
| Starter | €229 | 10k–15k views (estimated target) |
| Growth | €449 | 20k–30k views (estimated target) |
| Pro | €749 | 55k–75k views (estimated target) |
| Scale | €1299 | 100k–150k views (estimated target) |
View ranges are estimated campaign targets based on comparable campaigns, not guaranteed views.
How the campaign workflow runs
- 1. Paste the YouTube video URL.
- 2. The video title and thumbnail are recognised automatically.
- 3. Select a campaign package.
- 4. The campaign is reviewed and set up.
- 5. Targeting is configured.
- 6. The campaign runs.
- 7. Reporting is available in the campaign workspace.
WeScaleMusic is positioned specifically around music content — music videos, visualisers and lyric videos — and combines campaign setup and music-focused targeting inside the campaign workflow, rather than asking the artist to configure Google Ads manually. Labels running several releases can also see label campaign workflows.
How much does Sprizzy cost?
As of September 2026, Sprizzy's official pricing page states a minimum campaign budget of approximately $50 with no required subscription. Sprizzy states that it delivers campaigns using Google Ads / YouTube Ads run through its own advertising setup.
Sprizzy also reports typical campaign costs of roughly $0.02–$0.05 per ad view, depending on geography, targeting, niche, advertising competition and campaign performance.
That range is Sprizzy's reported figure for its own campaigns. It is not a universal YouTube advertising benchmark, and you should not plan a budget for a different provider or a self-run campaign around it.
How much does Prodvigate cost?
Prodvigate sells two different things, and mixing up their prices is the most common mistake when comparing it:
- • Video promotion — starts around $20 per campaign.
- • Channel promotion — the broader product, currently starting around $49 / €49 per week.
Prodvigate states that campaigns run using Google Ads. Its estimates depend on budget, targeting, content and audience behaviour, and it does not guarantee exact subscriber, like or comment numbers — which is the correct position for an advertising-based service.
How much does VeeFly cost?
VeeFly's official pricing checked September 2026 shows a custom/entry campaign from approximately $10. Additional named packages may include Bulk Views from around $249 and Silver Play from around $499 — verify current package names and prices on VeeFly's site before buying, as these change.
VeeFly states that its promotion runs through Google Ads.
VeeFly publishes projected view and subscriber ranges. Treat those as provider estimates and projections, not guaranteed outcomes. Where providers claim that paid promotion improves algorithmic performance, that is a provider claim — YouTube states that paid promotions do not directly affect organic search and recommendation performance.
How much does YouTube channel promotion cost through One Submit?
One Submit's official pricing as of September 2026 lists YouTube channel submissions at approximately $20 per submission. This is fundamentally different from advertising.
You are paying for review, consideration and feedback from an independent YouTube channel owner — not for guaranteed publication. Nobody can legitimately sell a guaranteed feature. For music artists chasing editorial or channel exposure rather than paid video advertising, this model can be a reasonable complement to a campaign; as a substitute for reach, it is not comparable.
How does Promolta pricing work?
Promolta uses a publisher-network model rather than a purely Google-Ads-based one. It states that videos can be distributed through blogs, websites, apps, games and social networks, with the user selecting a budget and an audience.
Pricing is campaign-specific and set in its checkout flow, so we do not quote a starting price here — third-party figures for Promolta circulate widely and are often out of date. The more important point is that the traffic source differs from YouTube Promote, Google Ads, Sprizzy, Prodvigate and VeeFly, so the viewers reached are not equivalent.
What affects the cost of YouTube promotion?
Geography
Advertising to highly competitive markets generally costs more than to less contested ones.
Audience targeting
Narrow targeting reduces available inventory and can push the cost up.
Content niche
Advertiser competition differs sharply by topic and audience.
Ad format
Different YouTube campaign and ad formats operate and price differently.
Creative performance
How viewers respond to the video influences campaign efficiency.
Campaign objective
A campaign optimised for views is not directly comparable with one optimised for website visits or another goal.
Because all six move at once, no provider can honestly quote you a guaranteed cost per view in advance.
What is a good cost per YouTube view?
There is no universal good cost per view. It depends on geography, audience quality, niche, targeting, campaign objective, ad format and the content itself.
A cheaper view is not automatically a better view. A low-cost view from a broad global audience may have far less commercial relevance to a German electronic-music artist than a more expensive view from a listener who actually matches their genre, language and touring markets.
The point is not to chase the cheapest possible countries until the number looks impressive. It is to buy attention from people who might realistically become listeners. The same logic applies across platforms — see the Spotify promotion cost guide if you are planning a cross-platform release budget.
How much should a music artist spend on YouTube promotion?
Practical ranges, without pretending to predict view counts. Every range assumes the video itself is finished and presentable.
Under €50
Very small campaign tests, learning how paid YouTube promotion works, testing an audience, or low-cost third-party campaign options. Not enough to evaluate multiple markets or audiences with confidence.
€50–€150
Initial music-video promotion, controlled audience testing, small managed campaigns and comparing two audience segments.
€150–€500
Structured release campaigns, broader targeting, longer campaign duration and multiple audience tests.
€500–€1,000
Priority music releases, larger audience tests, multiple territories and more meaningful campaign optimisation.
€1,000+
Suitable where the video is commercially important, the artist or label has a larger release plan, targeting is well defined, campaign data will be monitored, and budget exists for broader marketing alongside YouTube.
Larger budgets do not guarantee organic growth, subscribers, recommendations or virality. They buy more exposure and more data, nothing more.

Does paying for YouTube promotion improve organic reach?
Not directly. YouTube states that paid promotions do not affect the organic performance of a video or channel in YouTube's normal search and recommendation systems.
Advertising can:
- • Expose the video to people who would not otherwise find it
- • Generate legitimate paid views
- • Create awareness around a release
- • Introduce viewers who may later engage organically
But the campaign itself does not buy organic rankings, Suggested Video placement, algorithmic preference or viral growth. Any provider selling those is selling something they do not control. YouTube's Promote documentation is the source to check.
Are paid YouTube views legitimate?
They can be. YouTube explicitly states that views and subscribers obtained through its own Promote product are legitimate, and genuine Google Ads campaigns therefore generate real paid exposure to real people.
Bots, automated views, click farms and artificial engagement are a different category entirely. The question is not "did the artist pay?" — it is "how was the viewer reached?" If a provider cannot answer that plainly, that is the answer.
Do promoted views and subscribers count toward YouTube monetization?
No. Watch hours and subscribers gained through advertising campaigns do not count toward YouTube Partner Program eligibility thresholds. Paid promotion is not a shortcut to monetization, and budgeting for it with that objective in mind is money spent against the wrong goal.

YouTube promotion offers to avoid
- • Bot views
- • Fake likes or comments
- • Guaranteed subscriber counts
- • Guaranteed viral growth
- • Guaranteed Suggested Video placement
- • Guaranteed algorithmic ranking
- • Unexplained “premium traffic”
- • Massive view packages with no explanation of the traffic source
- • Any request for your YouTube password
YouTube's fake engagement policy prohibits artificially inflating engagement metrics, and content can be removed for it. Read the official policy.
Estimated campaign views vs guaranteed fake engagement
Estimated advertising range
A forecast based on advertising budget, target audience, past campaign performance and available advertising inventory. Actual results may vary in both directions.
Guaranteed artificial engagement
A promise to deliver fixed subscribers, likes, comments or engagement regardless of whether any real audience responded. That certainty is only possible when the engagement is not genuine.
WeScaleMusic campaign view ranges are estimated campaign targets, not guaranteed results.
Is it cheaper to run YouTube ads yourself?
Potentially, yes. Self-service options such as YouTube Promote and Google Ads remove the need to pay a separate provider for campaign management.
A managed service may still be worth the difference through campaign setup, music-specific targeting, creative and campaign guidance, ongoing optimisation, a reporting workflow and simple convenience. The useful question is therefore not only "which is cheaper?" but "how much campaign-management work do I want to handle myself?" Both answers are legitimate.
Example YouTube music promotion budgets
Educational examples of how a budget can be split — not forecasts.
€100 video promotion budget
An initial YouTube audience test in perhaps one or two key territories, with the results used to decide whether scaling is justified at all.
€500 music-video marketing budget
YouTube advertising or promotion as one line, short-form content assets as another, and a share for additional social promotion.
€1,500 music-video marketing budget
A larger YouTube campaign, several targeting tests, supporting social advertising, creative and content production, and something reserved for follow-up or retargeting where appropriate.
In none of these does the whole budget go to one provider. Videos that perform usually have several things pointing at them at once.
How do you know if YouTube promotion was worth the cost?
Not by the view counter alone. Look at:
- • Viewer geography
- • Audience relevance to your genre
- • Average view duration
- • Audience retention curve
- • Earned subscribers
- • Likes and comments where organic and relevant
- • Returning viewers
- • Channel visits
- • Clicks, where the campaign supports them
- • Whether viewers watch another video afterwards
We deliberately do not publish universal benchmark thresholds — genres, markets and video lengths differ far too much for a single retention or CPV target to mean anything.
Is the cheapest YouTube view always the best value?
No. Twenty thousand inexpensive views from an irrelevant audience can be worth less than a few thousand from listeners who genuinely match the artist's genre, location and audience strategy.
For music promotion, judge a campaign on audience relevance, geography, watch behaviour and follow-on engagement — not the headline view count.
When is paid YouTube promotion worth it for musicians?
It may make sense when
- • The video or release is professionally presented
- • You know who the target audience is
- • There is a clear campaign objective
- • The traffic source is transparent
- • Results can be monitored
- • The campaign fits into a wider release plan
It may be premature when
- • The video is unfinished
- • There is no defined audience
- • The channel or artist profile is incomplete
- • The provider cannot explain how views are generated
- • The only objective is a vanity view count
